It was the year our first black president was elected into office. It was November 2008 and Vonatta was making plans to go see the inauguration in DC and that started the conversation from there. I told her that I was from DC and she wanted to know the best place to stay at. I tried giving her some good advice where she could stay in a safe area and still enjoy the city and what it has to offer.

I gave her my business card and she was like what number am I suppose to call you on. I told her thats my business number you can contact me on either one the numbers. Vonatta was like you want me to call you at work. I thought about and said no so I wrote my cell number on the back of the card. I asked her what time did she get off from work she replied at 6. I said cool I will call you when you get off.

I called her about 6:05 and she told me that she was going to call me when she get in the car. When she called I talked her all the way home and upstair. I guess I had alot to get of my chest and vent. Vonatta told me I revvealed alot of information to her about me for the first time talking. I didnt feel like that but look at us now two years in the making with a new born baby named Enrique Matthias Stores.

A few months has went by and I was courting Vonatta, something I never did in my life in a relationship. We went out on a few dates and the first one being dinner and a movie. It was a good date I think we both enjoyed it. Even though she made me drive my car and I didn't want to because it turned off on every stop light lol. But she insisted that I drove in my car anyways.

So Vonatta and I started to spend a lot of time together. During the week we stayed at my apartment and on the weekends we stayed at her apartment. New Years of 2009 rolled around and we spent that one inside to enjoy each others company and bring in the new year together.

I started to think to myself that I am falling for this Panamanean goddess. We been at the same parties and clubs but never met due to the fact that we know some of the same people. I knew that I wanted her to be my girlfriend and decided to ask her to be my girlfriend and go steady for you older people.

I invited Vonatta to dinner at P.F. Changs a chinese restaurant. In the hallway going down to the truck I asked her if she wanted to be my girlfriend before we left for dinner. Naturally she said yes, you know I can't be resisted lol and we left for dinner.
