About Steve:

My fairy tale love story...I never thought I would be getting married, so what Steve and I have is truly a fairy tale love story. I have known of Steve for a few years now; however, we were first introduced at DeKalb County. Steve is a Police Officer, but he was not arresting me. LOL He was actually one of the many officers placed in the Clark Harrison and Maloof Administrative buildings. As early as July, 2010...he would not speak to anyone in the mornings, but I softened his mood by speaking every day. He would state, "I'm not a morning person". My response, "so what? You work in the mornings so you need to become a morning person." I told him that I knew him from somewhere, but he denied that I did. So I had to refresh his memory...thanks to his cousin Manny for bringing us in close proximatey of one another. So we chatted it up daily, until Tuesday January 18, 2011 he FINALLY asked me for my phone number. Well not really...he said if he had my number he would have called to tell me happy birthday. So true to form, I rattled of 4043456044. From that day on, Steve and I have been dating and decided to become exclusive in April 2011. We began having breakfast and lunch together...well not together but we made sure that each other ate. He sent me flowers on March 28, 2011 and has been sending them weekly every since...not quite weekly lately but every other week. :-)

I am so blessed to have Steve as a part of my life and looking forward to becoming his wife. I love you Steve.

About Trumondia:

I am so TRULY BLESSED to have Trumondia in my life!!!  Tru's version of how we met I guess is true, because as she state, "I didn't remember meeting her."  She tells me I first met her at a party my cousin Manny had a few years back.  If anybody knows my cousin alot goes on at his parties (THANKS MANNY I OWE YOU)...July 2010 I got moved to the security detail at the Maloof and Clark Harrison building, but it was not by choice (turned out to be best thing that ever happen to me!).  Every morning this pretty young lady would come by the security desk, and speak to everyone.  Those who know me know I am not a morning person, but TRU didn't care and would call me out by name when she would speak in the morning.  So as time went on our conversations would get longer and longer.  To be honest I would look forward to seeing her in morning, and really didn't know why.  Now that I look back on it I was starting to like her, but remember that she had a friend so I never said anything.  The Friday before her birthday she was at the security desk talking about she really didn't have any plans for her birthday.  I wanted to ask for her number, and maybe take her out for her birthday, but like I said I remember her saying something about a friend.  The Tuesday after her birthday she was at the security desk telling us what she did for her birthday, and said "I wanted to call you for your birthday, but didn't have your number."  The next thing I know Tru was telling me her number...I was like WOW!!! The following day she went to lunch with some co-workers, and brought me a drink back.  I texted her to say thank you, and the rest is history...

Trumondia from the bottom of my heart I want to thank you for being there for me.  I promise to always love you and cherish you.  I am looking foward to you being my wife.  Love you Steve

October 14, 2011(Tru's version)...

was the start of our engagement. Steve cooked dinner for me (Fried Pork Chops, Wild Rice, Broccoli, and Welch's Sparking Grape. He had the card table set with wine glasses and candles. We ate and talked about our cruise the week before. He gave me a card that we laughed about. He appeared rather nervous and I asked him what was wrong he said nothing, but I could tell something was on his mind just wasn't sure what. He cleared the table and I sat of the couch to watch NCIS. We are watching tv and as the show is about to end, I put on my socks and shoes to prepare to leave. He goes in the room and comes back and ask me to close my eyes. I refuse and start laughing because I was trying to watch the last little bit of NCIS. I was not laughing at what he was trying to do but at the fact that we had just spoke about how corny and sappy he was (but I love it and I love him). The laughing stopped once I noticed the lovely ring before me and finally understood what he was trying to say. I said yes and he placed the ring on my finger. I then asked him if he'd talked to my dad and he said he had that covered. Once I got confirmation that he talked to my dad, I began to share the news with the rest of my family and now I am sharing the story with you. Well that's my version of how it went down. ;-)

October 14, 2011(Steve's version)...

The initial plan was to propose to Tru when we went on the Play Date Cruise, but I knew I hadn't spoke to her father so I waited until we got back.  I told Tru that I wanted to cook dinner for her, the Friday after we got back, and she said ok.  So I knew that would be the perfect time to ask her.  Tru almost messed the whole thing up because she told me she was going to see BJ that Friday, but I was like we having dinner on Friday.  So I was like yo can you go see BJ Saturday, because I really wanted to cook you dinner.  I couldn't tell her I was going to propose to her.  I finally got her to agree to dinner on Friday.

Friday comes and I go pick up the ring from the jewlery store, and I am nervous as heck.  The whole time I am thinking to myself what if she say no.  I was like well it is what it is.  I started cooking dinner around 4:45pm, because i knew Tru would be hungry when she got to the house.  When she got to the house we sat down to eat.  We are sitting at the table eating, and discussing our trip.  She asked me several times was I ok, I said yes.  I was so nervous.  After we ate we were sitting on the couch watching CSI, and Tru said she was going to leave in a little bit.  So I got up and went in my room to get the ring.  When I came back out the room I asked Tru to close her eyes, and she was like why.  I was like just close your eyes, and she did.   When she open her eyes I was down on one knee with the ring in my hand, and she started laughing.  I was like wow you are laughing at me.  I don't know why but I started laughing too.  Finally we both stopped laughing, and I asked her to marry me, and she said yes.  That's how it went down....
